Default Does this LS Crank look bad? (bad way)

Just bought the crank for $40...'supposedly' only has about 50,000 miles on it. I noticed the crank appears to have been shaved...a little too much. Or maybe this is normal?

Looks good. Get it machined to make sure it is perfect.

Mine has that same hole in it just like the one you have circled. You do need to store that crank in the upright position wit the flywheel end down.
