so i put pyramid tw44 tweeters in my doors on my 94 eg and they stick out a little bit. i was thinking either cut the door frame or make a little box around it. the mounting depth is 2.25. if i cut a hole in the door frame do you think the tweeter will hit the window when i roll it up and down? ill post a pic in a few mins

 

wow, shoulda picked up some ex panels instead. swapped out the cloth part to have ur manual ****, and got better tweeters for it. no matter what u do thats gonna look like ****.

 

haha yeah i now i ****ed it up i did it without thinking lol but i wanna do something to make it look a little better. think if i cut a circle in the door frame it will hit the window?

 

lol, just take the panel off and take a good look, and think. the ex panels have a bracket that secure the tweeters into place. its real small. to take the panels off remove the lil screw by the dash indent, screw in the door armrest, and a screw inside the handle. then gently pry it away. the tweeters themselve may be too big anyway though...
