i recently bought powerslot rotors AEM pads and goodridge lines (still waiting on lines) and i was wondering if there are any negative side effects of removing the dust shields and rear caliper covers? i recently purchased a 95 240sx to drive to work and around town, so i wouldnt be in bad weather in the prelude. i figured it might help with brake cooling a little and weight reduction (sure it will be a big weight loss, maybe a whole 2 pounds) but anyway just let me know what yall think

i like your sig nick. You drive with safety glasses on to avoid the metal shards from piercing your eyeball when the engine surely blows into a billion pieces, correct?

 

of course i do! im just waiting for it to blow up! i also wear a bullet proof vest to protect my chest (and a titanium cup for....well.....you know).
