im in the process of building an ls and i have stage 3 crower cams full supertech valve train and i was kinda wondering how high of compression i should go i want to drive it almost every day but still be reliable let me kno what u think

Depends. With stage 3 cams your dynamic compression ratio will effectively raise your static compression ration quite a bit so you should be able to go quite high. If your pistons and combustion chambers are in great shape you could do as hi as 13:1 (with incredible tuning). If you are a mortal like the many of us on HT with less then perfect motors and perfect tuning I suggest going no higher than 11.5:1.

Have a look at PGMFI.org for lots of good info on how to tune it safely.
