Default Looking for a Cat.

I'm looking for a cheap stock Si Cat. Converter, i'm not worried about new or used or overall condition. Anyone have their stock exhaust system laying in the garage after buying an aftermarket?

Do you know what the cat goes for? $1000 with the the two shields on it, $1100. Even at wholesale price it will cost you $750.

So you want one cheap? I sell you one for 500!

'Bring it down a notch, skid-row'. I work at a honda dealer, so i can get a new one cheap, if thats what i wanted. I'm just looking see if someone has one thats just taking up space or isnt too greedy and would let it go for a minimal price. I'm looking to experiment with on a spare one.

Ok man, I'm just saying if you know what they cost why would you ask if someone just has one laying around? If you can get it for cheap then do it. I have one laying around but for 700 to 1000 to replace it, I'll hang on to it before I give it away. You might find a dummy though.....Who am I to judge I guess.

quite simply put, like i said before... i DONT want a new one. i am looking for one that is used. when i had my last civic, i bought an aftermarket exhaust system. i had the stock pipes laying around for a while until i got sick of looking at it and sold it to someone for pocket cash because i didnt care.

ugh, this i why i rarely post here...
and now back to my topic... if you have one pm me please, if not dont worry and carry on about your ways

For starters this is in the wrong forum. Secondly you are soliciting in a public forum, how can you not expect rhetoric? What happen to yours? Give car-part.com a go.

$500.00 is a good deal, considereing dealer flat out cost is $614.58, so how much cheaper would you like to see one go for, lol.

I use to get cost plus 10% until the economic downturn, they bumped my account to 25% off list siting I had only done $12k in business for 2008. I showed them I could get 28% off list online and have it delivered to my door. I also showed them I opened my account in April and was out of the country for the last 3 months of the year so it was $12k in 7 months. I also stated that I pay cash most of the time and all my parts are will call. They agreed to cost plus 15%

that's messed up, we've never changed a customer account if they sold less or more.

Dude you said it dosnt matter new or used. So that means you are looking for a new one or a used one. Also IDT someone will sell you a stock cat off the civic si for cheap unless they are stupid. Go online and buy a highflow cat.

Your experiemnting with them. WHat is there to experiment with? You gonna gut it and see how much power it makes? Same as a highflow. Or better yet for even a few more ponies run no cat at all.
