and pretty love it.. what you guys think.. go for it and change the front rims to silver to ?











need to open a litel the fenders but i want 205/40/16 tires i love the look that
the tire strech on the wheel .. so... to go for it ? =]

NO! It's UNSAFE, and a BAD IDEA all around. You're talking about getting tires that are too small for your car, and mounting them on wheels that are too wide for the tires. This generates excessive stress and heat in the tire sidewall, which can lead to tire failure (either popping the bead or an actual blowout). DON'T DO IT!!!

On your '97-00 Civic, you should be using either 205/45-16 or 215/45-16 tires. Tire manufacturers specify which wheel widths tires can be safely mounted on. Most 205/45-16 tires should only be mounted on wheels 6.5-7.5 inches wide, and most 215/45-16 tires should only be mounted on wheels 7.0-8.0 inches wide. Stick to those tire sizes and wheel widths.
