DIY - 1994-2001 Acura Integra - Tail light & gasket **PICS**
This is for those of you who have a lake of water in their trunk/hatchback area everytime it rains
It's the tailight gasket.
Tools needed.
- 10mm deep socket, extension, & ratchet.
- Phillips screwdriver
- Flat head screwdriver
- Plier
- Interior clips removal tool
- 8mm deep socket
Start by removing these clips with the body panel removal tool.


Use the plier & pull this clip off.

Now release the seat at an angle & push toward the arrow indicated to get the seat out


Next remove this 10mm bolt

Lift the back end straight up like so and wiggle the seat out.

Here's a picture of the seat's hook for reference.


Open the rear strut cover & remove the 10mm bolt. And use the phillip screwdriver & remove the plastic screw.

Remove this 10mm bolt

Remove these plastic/metal screw with phillips screwdriver


Remove the speaker cover & remove this screw.

Unplug this hatch light & Now you're pretty much done, start pulling the panels out.


Using a deep socket 8mm, remove these (6) nuts to get the tailight out.

Replace it with these OEM tailight gasket. At $25 for one gasket, it's expensive so don't rip or damage it in any way.

Tailights out.

Put the new gasket on and install in reverse order.
