run a search, see it, and the upper right hand side of the screen, Cold Air Intake(aem), Header(DC 4-2-1), and exhaust

I/H/E is what you will always hear, before you post questions run a search first....

that of course does not apply to me, I am the Walking, Talking FAQ

Actually he said V6, so headers are pretty much too expensive to care about.

For about $1000 for the headers alone.

You can get more power out of the engine than the tranny can take.

The auto trannies in the V6's are the weakest link.

I've heard of V6's with NOS on multiple tranny rebuilds.

1. like he just said...headers will be the best mod you can do to the car...they produce 15-20 hp to the wheels on the dyno. Yes, they are expensive, but well worth it.

2. the tranny NEEDS, a tranny cooler and some redline ATF...at that point it will stay cooler and run without problems.

yes, comptech makes the v6 supercharger...

does anybody make custom turbo manifolds for the v6?...i thought i remember seeing them somewhere...anyways, if they are available, get them and two t3 turbos...you won't see a lasting tranny, but you will see close to 400+ whp with proper tuning...

where the hell are you going to put them?

after you crammed all that in there it would be one badass A-ride that ran through trannies left and right.

do it. have your fun. and then sell it to some sucker.

it is possible to run a supercharger and turbos but its really not necessary, with two turbos you will be making more power than you need.

Tranny coolers are universal. As long as it will fit in front of your radiator without totally blocking it, its fine. May I suggest a Hayden 403 or slightly bigger maybe 501. Or B&M makes even better ones but more expensive. I'm currently running a Hayden 401.

I saw a turbo kit for the v6 on ebay don't remember when, it was the one that was on the HKS v6. So he said, but i think the bidding started at 4500. If you got money anything is possible.

that must have been a crazy custom manifold, unless it only spun a turbo on one side of the block and not the other, but why?

sweet thanx!, can u feel the difference when u put it on??

[Modified by dohctwinn1, 6:28 PM 8/22/2002]
usually not, it just keeps it cool and last longer...heat kills auto trannies...

some people claim firmer shifts...i kinda doubt it tho
