Default which air intake should I use

Hey please don't flame me for this question, I searched the threads as best I could and was not able to find the answer. I have a 97 gsr with an aem short ram air intake and a skunk2 ( type-r style ) intake manifold. I was checking the oil today and noticed that the support for the air intake was snapped just below the intake tube. I checked all of my engine mounts and they are all still in good shape. Is the air intake for a gsr not compatible with a skunk2 intake manifold? Thaks for any help you can give.

Default Re: which air intake should I use

I believe they are compatible, its just a matter of length since the gsr intake arm curve down a bit at where the thottle body meets, but should bolt up without much interference. If you want to replace it you can always get an intake (stock or aftermarket) from the 92-95 civics and it will bolt up.
