Default Which size Tire?

i recently bought a 2000 Si rims and it had a 195/55/15 which I'm replacing soon. I saw some cars have 195/50/15 instead of 195/55/15, which is the right size for my 90 hatch?

the right size for ur hatch its 165/65/14
u can put 195/50/15 or any tire size u want, to make it look good...... if u want a tire size calculator go to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html this is the best tire calculator i have seen so far......

actually stock 14" size would be 185-60-14.

in 13" I'm not too sure, 187-70-13?

Most go to 195-50-15 or 205-50-15. Most of our cars are old enough and such high revvers that it wouldn't matter if you go slightly taller or shorter.

my DX has 175/70-13.

I'm buying 195/50-15. Tirerack also has that listed as the "suggested" tire size.

from my own experience-195-50-15 will not rub.

195/50/15 is the "plus one" size for your car. It is almost exactly the same diameter as a 185/60/14 and 10cm wider.

Check this link out, it you can see for yourself.
