i want to paint my hatch champ white white either a light red or blue pearl coat. iv seen one and i liked it ALOT. anyone know how much it would cost to get the pearl coat and which color would look best. autozone carrys champ white so i can get it rather cheap.

 

I would guess you'll probably have to do some experiementing to get it just right. There are all kinds of places to order pearls on the internet, alsapaint.com kustomshop.com paintwithpearl.com and e-bay, hokpaint.com there's a lot out there. you could probably paint the car with a half pint if it's a light mist to get a shimmer effect. I don't think the pearl would cost you any more then 40 bucks at the most....not sure though, depends on the size and whatnot.

 

Buy house of kolor dry pearl...its cheap and easy to work with...

lay base...mix pearl with clear...lay clear, then do a final clear...simple...jus make sure u have your fan set right on the gun otherwise you'll get stripes n all...practice on an old hood or somthing....Large panels like that would show the stripes most....goodluck....
