FT in MO: 98 Civic coupe NEW B (~ITR) swap or rolling. 99-00 Si look.
Well, I'm going to put this out there to see if anyone has something I want. I will either trade as rolling chassis or I will trade with the B swap in the car. Engine, trans, clutch, all drivetrain have less than 1,000 miles.
CAR:
1998 Civic EX, VSM with Type K interior
99-00 Civic Si seats front and rear
99-00 Civic Si cluster
Fastline shifter
OEM AM/FM radio with OEM "type" add on CD player by cup holders. CD will also play MP3's
Factory Honda alarm with light flash and starter kill
Hidden kill switches
Newer OEM Honda floor mats
New overall paint job about 2 years ago.
99-00 front end. I bought EVERYTHING brand new from Honda. Fenders, hood, bumper cover, OEM fog light kit, Si grille, Optional lip, headlights. My bill from Honda for all of the parts I purchased was right at $2500.
New door mouldings on both sides as the original ones had a few door dings
NO RUST ANYWHERE.
Outside of car is nearly flawless. About the ONLY thing it really needs is belt mouldings as the black is coming off of them. I currently have them but they are not installed.
Underside of car looks pretty much like brand new.
Suspension (some or all may stay or go depending on the trade):
Ground Control coil overs
Ground Control extended top hats all 4 corners
Koni Yellow shocks
ASR rear brace
Factory EX front sway
Currently no rear sway
Blox control arms
ASR and Blox control arms are both black. You can not see them from behind the car.
Engine:
"sneaky" ITR
B18C1 block (since it's the same as an ITR...)
GSR crank (spec'd better than the ITR one so we used it instead)
ITR rods with ARP rods bolts
ITR 81.25 pistons, brand new from Acura (they are AO's which are US)
New OEM 81.25 rings from Acura
ITR intake
ITR TB
New OEM oil pump from Acura
New bearings and thrust washers from Acura
All new seals
Block decked .003
New OEM water pump
New OEM tensioner
OEM head gasket
PR3 head with about .003 cut off
KMS dual springs and titanium retainers
All new valve guides
All new valve stem seals
ITR cams
Billet cam seal
Every gasket on the engine is new and every one is OEM Honda.
JDM P73 OBD2A ecu in car
Everything on engine currently has less than 1,000 miles since complete rebuild. NO SMOKE EVER. The engine is built right and runs very well.
Trans:
JDM ITR LSD trans
ITR 1-4
LS 5th (brand new OEM Acura)
4.785 final drive (brand new OEM Acura)
OEM ITR Helical LSD (brand new OEM Acura)
All new bearings
All new seals
All new synchros
All new synchro springs
The only thing I cut a corner on (since it was my trans) was the 3-4 sleeve. Every once in a while, it has a 3rd gear tick. Not sure if it's because everything was new as I have not heard it in the last couple weeks. Besides this, everything else in trans is perfect and under 1,000 miles.
Oreilly lifetime warranty axles
Clutch:
OEM Acura flywheels (new)
ACT organic disc
ACT Extreme PP
New TOB
New ISB
Cool air kit (may or may not go):
Samco ITR intake arm
K&N ITR replacement filter
K&N heat shield for 99-00 Civic Si
I purchased all of above brand new.
Exhaust/header (may or may not go):
RMF narrow replica header
Very High Temp black ceramic painted header
2.25" mandrel bent pipe with flanges. Removes in 3 sections.
Twin loop muffler with stainless 2.25" pipe for tip (to look more factory)
Flex pipe on exhaust so it has a flex point.
Every OEM hanger point is used.
I'm sure I"m forgetting a lot. Obviously, the windows are tinted. Sunroof also has some tint on it so you can have the cover open while driving.
The bad about the car:
Could use a headliner as the front edge is starting to come unglued
Needs sunroof cover as the previous owner looks like their ring cut through some of the cloth on it.
Couple tiny imperfections in seats. Look kind of like tiny cigarette burns. Smaller than pencil eraser.
One or 2 tiny rock chips on body of car.
Slight 3rd gear tick every once in a while (very high RPM only)
Basically, nothing BAD but those are the things that annoy me.
Since I need to list a price (even though the car is for trade), I'm going to ask $8500. You can not even think of building this car for this price. NO corners cut (except the 3-4 sleeve...) No, a bank will not loan you $8,500 for a 98 Civic.
A coupe pics (will provide any pic for serious trade):

Trades considered:
99-up CRV AWD (prefer 5 speed but don't really want a green or red one)
99-00 Civic EX 4 door in silver or black ONLY.
????
I will either even trade or trade plus cash on your end. I am not interested in anything 92-95 at all. Not interested in Integras at all (unless it's a super clean 4 door GSR that isn't green, must be 99 or newer). Not interested in cars with crap paint or obvious prior accident damage (I have a good eye so don't try to pull one over on me).
Run what you have past me. Car can come with Nippon 15's (Volk TE27 looking ones) with dark grey center and machined lip with 205/50's, the Si's with brand new 195/55's, or you can put your wheels on it. Car is up for trade turn key or as a rolling chassis. It will only take me about 2 hours to drop the whole swap out the bottom.

Back to top. I'll get more pics sometime this weekend. Had out of town visitors show up yesterday so I was not able to do anything...

Back to the top. Looking for super clean CRV RTAWD of equal value or clean CRV RTAWD plus more parts or cash on your end.
Thanks, Ben!
Really would like to trade for a super clean CRV. MUST be RTAWD. Depending on trade, I may or may not want cash or to remove parts to make trade fair.

Still available. Trade for equally clean CRV or Civic EX 4 door. Colors I'd like: Silver, Black, White.
