My father is giving me this car soon. I really never liked hondas till i ran in a friends civic with a vtec. I know it takes work to make a fast car. Here is my question. What would i need to build a 13-14 second accord maybe even faster . Im looking towards an engine swap. Can ne point me in the right direction.

Mainly i just wanna build a mean little vtec. It just fascinates me.
Im 21 and i have a decent job. I really dont wanna spend to much (over3k). I know i will tho. Drove a few fast cars in my short life. But after being thrown around in that civic i just wanna have one haha.
