F/T: 98 VW Golf Gti VR6 stock*
I'm basically putting this back up for a couple of reasons.
I have realized I am just more comfortable in a honda due to my knowledge of hondas, and the fact that a good friend of mine is a master honda tech.
And really i just want to see what's out there, and there's a few cars that have already got my attention.
Car has 163k miles..bought it from a good friend of mine after the car was painted.
The car drives perfectly straight, doesn't burn any oil, or leak anything of any kind. Motor mounts were just recently replaced by me, along with the radiator, new exhaust (Its a FEELS brand muffler (MaD jDm yO!), sounds awesome), k+n cone filter, and a full tune up. No grinds in the tranny, cd player, wired for subs.
The paint is a black with a blue pearl, looks amazing in the sunlight.
The black leather interior is nearly mint and VERY comfortable
The bad..the side skirts are missing the top piece, which you'll see in the pics. The drivers side door card is peeling on the top (need to be stapled back down)..just haven't gotten around to it. Also the cruise control (not sure why, everything is there), the ABS light is on (sensor...think 94-98 integra
) and the a/c doesn't work (needs a new condenser), but everything else is good. The 2.8 V6 is pretty damn quick too, lots of torque, about 27mpg average, and keeps up almost dead even (with the vr6 creeping a little) my friends 92 gsr w/IHE. If it wasn't on wet roads I would have definitely gotten him...mucho torque.
btw..that was the ONLY seriously ONLY time i have ever raced the car....other than that its probably only seen redline less than a half dozen times...i baby this thing.
