need opinion.rod knock? spun bearing?vid and pics
this morning i go out to turn the car on to go to school and theres a loud knocking hard tapping sound, it sounds like its coming from cylinder 1 closest to the crank pulley. Originally i thought it had to do with the timing belt cause when i changed my valve cover it looked like something was eating the belt(i just read a thread on what that problem its somthing else)
would my egr being clogged cause this cause i know for a fact its clogged and its causing a misfire.(i have an euro R on the way to solve that)
i have mechanical know how tools and ect. it just time i don't have to tear the block apart if its not the crank bearings. if it is i'll take the time off from school and work.
i'll pull the cel codes aswell and post them if it'll help any.

cel codes are
po401 egr ports clogged which i knew already
p0301 cylinder 1 misfire
p0302 cylinder 2 misfire
p0303 cylinder 3 misfire
probable cause for the misfiring:
ignition system - can't be spark plugs wires dizzy cap and rotor are all new
fuel contamination, supply, lack of fuel - can't be always use 93 octane from either shell or sunoco
fuel injectors - can't be they're new
low compression - could be but it still keeps up with 5spd 5g preludes
valve clearence - could be the dealer suggested i get a valve adjustment the dealer said they were to tight

Codes for the fuel system will show up if there is a slight vacuum leak and it's not getting full fuel pressure. Check your lines going to the pressure regulator.
