Icon6 Partial Throttle Issues . Dohc ZC

h-t

so yesterday i had my p06 ecu chipped with obd1 dohc zc maps;p29.
the car isn't running really great @ partial throttle. it has this laggy
feeling only under 5,000 rpms. @ WOT, there are no problems, revs freely
and the power is just, wow. so yeah, i've been searching around honda-tech
and all i got as a possible answer was change out the o2 sensor and fuel filter.

more about the partial throttle issue.
let's say this happens 97% of the time i'm driving. meaning like sometimes
my car would drive normally with no lag/loss of power/LIGHT jerk feeling.

background;
90 civic dx obd1 converted
92 jdm dohc zc with 60xxx miles mated to 91 civic ex tranny.
ebay 4-2-1 header, no cat/resonator, stock crx si muffler(dual tip)
cheap short ram intake
92 civic dx distributor, drilled in order to set ignition timing to perfection and to fit lol.

ecu chipped by Redzone.
o2 sensor disabled
"custom" integra LS maps;; copy and pastedededed the dohc zc maps

help me out h-t!
my car will deathed

*forgot to add*
my car backfires also at 4k shifts..

i have one but it's obd0.
the dizzy works fine. what i'm saying is that, this happened
after i got ecu chipped. and from that this probably caused
this problem i'm having with my car.

thanks

The ECU works fine, but what you must understand that its not ZC maps just coppied and pasted. I made that map from scratch using an LS map as a base and then started to make changes as I see fit. its a base map and just that. the car should be tuned on a dyno to make sure everything is in order and that the car runs correctly. I know you came by yesterday and I made some changes and made sure you knew that you should really tune the car for safe measure.

i appreciate your work jeremy. you helped me out alot even though i've been there for two days. you do good work and trust me. i was just wondering if it was something else that might have caused this problem, not your work. well hopefully, i'll swing by sometime next week for the dyno tune. i'm excited lol. heard i could probably make somewhere close to 110whp to 120whp

looking forward to it though man. see you guys soon!
