If i got b18c1 cam caps line honed to match my h22 head, will they work fine? or should i just break down and buy a new head?

uh....why not use the H22 cam caps????

 

hard to find a head thats cheaps or just the head at that...but i might be in luck now. im waiting for the person to email me back so i can get them...but could it be possible?

 

Even if it was last time I checked it was ~$400 to line bore/hone cam caps and you could easily find a good used H22 head for that. Plus line boring could change the location of the cam in relation to the vtec rocker shaft and throw all that out of whack.

 

i got a reputable shop here on oahu that willl do it for 5 bucks a cap...plus like i said, i cant find even a used h22 head down here. everyone wants to sell the complete engine and not part. but i dont need all that. plus, i really dont want to pay all that shipping on top of the rediculous price of a used oem head when all i need are the caps and plate..
