Tool needed
* KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014
NOTE: Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components. Have an assistant help you when you remove and install the dashboard. Take care not to scratch the dashboard, body and other related parts. Put on gloves to protect your hands.
CAUTION: SRS components are located in this area.
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the frequencies for the radio's preset buttons.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, and wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
3. Remove these items:
5. Remove the ground bolts.
6. Detach all of the harness and connector clips.
7. Open the doors, remove the caps, then remove the bolts and screws, and lift up on the dashboard to release it from the guide pins. Take care not to scratch the center console and shift ****.
8. Carefully remove the dashboard through the front door opening.
9. Install the dashboard in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- Gauge Cluster
- Radio panel
- Audio unit
- Steering column
- Passenger's dashboard lower cover
- Front console cover, both sides
- Passenger's airbag assembly
- Kick panel, both sides
- Front pillar trim, both sides
5. Remove the ground bolts.
6. Detach all of the harness and connector clips.
7. Open the doors, remove the caps, then remove the bolts and screws, and lift up on the dashboard to release it from the guide pins. Take care not to scratch the center console and shift ****.
8. Carefully remove the dashboard through the front door opening.
9. Install the dashboard in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Make sure the dashboard fits onto the guide pins correctly.
- Before tightening the bolts, make sure the dashboard wire harness and steering
hanger beam wire harness are not pinched. - Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly.
- Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
- Enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.
- Reset the clock
- Do the PCM idle learn procedure
