how do i remove the metal strip betweent he bumper and tails?

90 HB....it is the part with the keyhole for the hatch. my lock is broke so i am just going to shave it of. any info will be great. thanks!

pretty sure you just take the rear bumper off and you'll be able to get at it.

remove tailights,remove rear panel.i believe they are 4 bolts holding it up.2 of them on are on the corners of our cars.you can't really see the other too.once you pull your lights you can see some.take your time.it is a little bit of a pin to put it back on by yourself so handtighten first or have a friend help.
