Default H22 CRX build.

Im new to the boards....not to the honda scene

I am in the process of building a boosted H22 crx.

I plan on getting the explicit speed mount kit with t-bars.

how did your crx h22 turn out?

does the skunk2 IM work with the swap without mods? (firewall, and hood clearance)

how did you do your turbo manifold on the H powered rex?

anything would be helpful..... thank you

I did the skunk2 manifold with mine just look for posts by me and you will see the thread.

I would _NOT_ recommend putting it on.

It is way to big to fit in there...I already broke one booster and had to put another one in because the pedal went down too far (bad master cylinder) and it hit the area I had beat it in.
I used the hasport mounts and had to raise the rear mount to get it to clear, but on a side note the axles are much straighter now.

Yeah, I just talked to John at explicitspeedperformance and he was telling me that the skunk 2 is 1 1/2" longer than stock, and with the mounts they sell you have about 1/2" clearance with the stock manifold.

He recommends the rosko racing euro-r manifold
www.roskoracing.com

it seems that this is what I will be doing

because the euro-r manifold is shorter than stock... you gain an additional
1/2" of clearance on the firewall

any other information on the EF/H22 swap would be helpfull...would like to get all my ducks in a row

what tranny do you use? what would be the best ratio h/F series tranny?
