butterfly for gsr

Default butterfly for gsr

do i have to be running the butterfly fully open all the time. i have zip tied opening it. can i just cut them off!

Sounds like you are running a chipped ECU that doesn't support the IAB (controls the secondary butterflies).

You can get IAB to work by -obviously- getting the right ECU. You can also modify some ECU's to add IAB control - requires new chip to be burned with GSR mapping.

you could get an aftermarket intake manifold, it's a single stage IM so you wouldn't have to worry about no butterflies. Also you already have the ecu to go with it.

would a Skunk 2 or Chorme work for that situation.

the stock gsr p72 ecu. some people like them, but many people disable them or get an im that lacks the butterflies, i.e. a single stage intake manifold.
