Misfire Codes. cannot pass inspection. HELP!!
hello everyone, i'm new to the honda scene, so bare with me...
my sister has a 2001 integra ls, which is in pristine condition, all original and stock everything with 160xxx miles. Come october, this car will be mine.
now the problem is it gets misfire codes p030X. i've done a tune up with ngk plugs, autozone cap and rotors (yikes?) , and bosch wires. still the code pops up. i physically cleaned the injectors, still pops up. (this is when i got a tad bit frustrated
) Then i seafoamed it, no change. and finally this past sunday at work during my down time i adjusted the valves. cylinder 1 was within specs, cylinder 3 had too much clearance (.006 on the intake side, and i cant remember the exhaust side) now i know some of you prefer honda caps and rotors with ngk wires. i'll def change them out. but other than the possibility of those parts being the problem i cant figure out what would cause the misfire codes to pop up. i'm thinkin its the fuel injectors, but i want to make sure before i spend 400 big ones on factory honda injectors.
i'm very mechanically inclined, i've been a toyota technician for over 3 years. so please don't hold back on the technical mumbo-jumbo, i understand it.

did you do a compression check? i threw a CEL for a missfire and had bent valves. also make sure you change that cap and rotor to OEM honda too, only a few dollars diff in price, and much higher quality. also did you reset the ecu after you did all the things you did?
yea sorry for not mentioning the compression test, it came up to 175 psi across all cylinders. i'm def gonna change the dizzy cap and rotors to oem. prob go buy that right after i get my haircut toady. the thing that sux is my sister needs the car till thursday
I have a 95 b18c1. Has brand new OEM valves, all new seals. Total rebuild. Before I rebuilt it my compression was 175-150-45-150. Every valve was bent(don't know how it happened, I got it like that)
i just read the specs for the b18b1... itsnot supposed to be greater than 199 psi and no less than 135, and no difference of 28 or more. your gsr specs are higher, up to 270psi

UPDATE!!! i called my sister and she said that the head was rebuilt at 110xxx miles, cuz she never changed the timing belt and it snapped on her (Ooh!). i'm not sure if the milled the head and if they did i don't know how much to affect the engine, but i'm assuming it would be fine cuz this only started recently
Do a google search for "technical service bulletin" for your make and model. If I recall correctly, some OBD2 integras had a faulty ignition system that would throw random missfire and ignition system codes.
UPDATE!!! i went to an acura dealership, and asked them if they can look up the tsb #. it came up with, if vehicle is equipped with an aftermarket alternator belt it may cause misfire codes or some **** like that, then it says to replace with a genuine honda belt. Whatever... i dont see how a belt would cause misfire codes to pop up. but since the timing belt is due for replacement, i might as well pick up some good 'ol Genuine Honda drive belts. also i spent 300 bones
on cap, rotor, wires, valve cover gasket ,t-belt, drive belts, and wheel locks for the mint condition ls mesh wheels, that i know some one in this damn town might take. its all good tho cuz my sis is cuttin me a check
