Thank you good sirs. I've done some searching and this seems reasonable. And the seller is recommended.
Thank you.
and for Tech - any other recommendations? A rear main seal from Honda seems to be in order too. Now I just need to find a reasonable shop to put this in. From what I've read, two hours of labor should be more than enough.
[This is for my all original 1991 CRX HF DD, with original clutch at the end of its rope at 111k]

gripforce is a great seller. i purchased my oem type clutch from them and its served me well thus far.
It will honestly probably take them longer than 2 hours. i dont doubt it could be done that quickly, however shops are not going to turn it into a race. alldata quotes about 5 hours to remove and replace the trans. so figure about the same since they will be doing the clutch while its out.

I wonder, would this hold up to 'abuse' from the stock 62 (or is it 69?)hp engine if driven 'hard'? Or should I be more worried about snapping an axle? Maybe a new thread. Glad so far it's a good buy.
around 3-5 hours should be good to pull a trans and put it back in. Anything less and I'd be worried what they forgot or what drugs they are doing. Any clutch will be good for your stock motor and I would'nt worry about breaking an axle. My friends dad went 180k on stock axles on his 86 civic before 1 went.
Personally have used this kit but the kit I bought had a fidanza flywheel with it and a exedy clutch. Ran great in my friends stock b18a in LS teg. Flywheel makes a good differece in revving. Personally for a stock DD HF, I would just run the stock flywheel because you need all the low end power you can get in a HF especially only having a 5k rev limit. Lightened flywheels usually adjusts the powerband to the upper RPM range.

So should I just get the clutch kit sans flywheel and have them just resurface the oem one?
