My wifes 1990 Honda Accord drives very strange and I cannot figure out what is going on. When the vehicle is driven it randomly swerves towards the right side of the road, when this happens you must turn the steering wheel almost 3/4 of the way around to compensate. The vehicle had sat for about three years when we bought it and we have done alot of work to it since. If anyone knows what this could be I would be very thankful!!

 

Some sort of horrible alignment? Maybe the steering rack is toast? Not too bad of a problem...to fix that is. Keep it off the road until you figure the problem. Jack it up, then have someone turn the wheel while you observe the control arms and steering components

 

Ill do that because theres a lot of play in the steering wheel. It actually seems loose, as if I would jerk the steering wheel really hard it might pop right off.
