I bought my 95 hatch with a jdm d15b. It had an a/c compressor on it but the thing was shot. About 2 weeks ago i bought a brand new compressor and put it and a new dryer on. I took it to a shop and had it vacuumed and filled with refrigerant. Now the problem... When it is hot outside, say 80 or hotter, the compressor kicks on for about a minute and just as the air gets coolish it kicks off for about 5 seconds and then runs for about 5 seconds. It keeps doing this so the air never really gets cold. When its not really hot out like at night it works fine and blows ice cold. I checked the condenser fan and it runs. I assume it has the right amount of refrigerant, though i need to check it. But I was wondering what could cause that besides an incorrect amount of refrigerant. Thanks for the help.
