Default Skunk2 exhasut sitting too low?

well i bought my skunk2 megapower R exhasut and when i finished putting it on the resonator sits really low to the floor and i scrape everywhere i go. has anyone else had this problem? any suggestions on how to fix this? i went to the muffler shops and they said i would have to cut up piping to make it starighter does this sound resonable cuz i really dont want to cut up my new exhasut system.

I was also thinking about just cutting off the resonator and have them reweld a pipe to connect it ?

Any suggestions or help would be nice

If you have access to a welder I would change the hangers and shorten them if needed. Did you put the mid pipe on right? Generally most of the mid pipes can be flipped and still bolt up, and it would cause the muffler to be crooked a little and your pipe would hang low. Are the hangers on the bottom or the top of the pipe as you have it now?

What car are you driving and how low are you? I'm using one on my 92 GS-R and I had plenty of space when I dropped it 1.5"

Did you use the correct size rubber hangers on the correct places? Does the exhaust hang strait or are there any parts that look like it sticks out too low?

im driving a 98 gsr and when i put it on the hangers it sat even lower so i shortened the hangers and it still sits low. so i have a welder fix the angle of one of the flanges from the test pipe to the mid pipe and it went up a bit more but it still sits too low to drive around.

And my car is lowered but not too low i still want to lower it more cuz its looks weird with too much of a gap

But i was thinking even if it were to be fixed and pushed up more the resonator would still be low so i dont no wat to do cuz when i drive anywhere i scrape and dont want the whole exhasut to crack or fly off sumwhere.
