I've just pulled and bought a f22a1 trans from a 92 accord, and i need to know if it will fit in my 94 f22b2 accord? there both 5spds. other than the studs on the tranny housing will everything else hook up right? and will it work properly? any extra info would be great.

 

Is it 5spd or Auto? No, you will need to drill & re-tap the studs on the transmission housing to re-use your F22Bx tranny mount.

 

thanks for the info, but i also need to know the specs for the flywheel such as bolt pattern and mm? anything i can use befor i do this swap would be great.

 

Honda uses 17mm 12pt socket for the flywheel bolts and 10mm 12pt socket for the pressure plate bolts. I know that you'll have to torque the 5spd flywheel bolts down to 79lbs and 19lbs for the pressure plate bolts.

Go criss-cross as for bolt pattern.

 

thanks for that info but what i ment was is the flywheel a 6 bolt or a 8 bolt? because befor i order the parts i want to make sure that im getting the right one. so how do you like that fidanza flywheel? did you feel an inprovement when you put it in? and was it worth it? because ive found one fairly cheep. about $156.00, i knew a guy that put one in his frist prelude and he ended up putting it in two more befor he finaly sold the car with it in it.
