First of all, the RT-615 isn't made in 205/55-15, and that size is too big for your car. Your current tires are probably 205/50-15, the only 15" size in which the RT-615 is made. For 15" wheels on a '97-00 Civic like yours, you can use either 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.

For your expressed needs, I think you're in the right ballpark using a "supersticky street tire" like the Azenis RT-615. However, there are now several tires on the market which are better than the Azenis in every way - dry grip (for autocross), wet grip, treadlife, etc. Two of these are priced about the same as the RT-615: the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec in 195/55-15, and the Kumho Ecsta XS in 205/50-15. Either of those would be a great choice for what you're seeking. Other tires which are similar but cost significantly more are the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 (205/50-15), Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 (205/50-15), and Toyo R1R (205/50-15); I recommend the Star Spec and XS over these due to their lower cost.

The Azenis RT-615 was a great tire when it first came out. Since then, the other manufacturers have brought out competing tires that are even better. I'm sure the folks at Falken are working on a replacement so they can keep up with the competition.

Yeah it probably is a 205/50, wasn't really sure. I was actually looking into the kumho ecsta xs but not sure if any1 has used them and can give me some feedback on how well they work. Thanks

Very well! There are some posts about them in the Road Racing / Autocross forum. Also see this topic about the Tire Rack's test, to be posted on their website soon.

BTW, the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec I mentioned shouldn't be confused with the Dunlop Direzza DZ101, which is more of a daily driving tire rather than a supersticky tire. It's not clear from your post which one you already have on the rear.

I have the direzza dz101 i think, they are more of a daily type tire so im pretty sure they are not super sticky tires.
