oil pan wont budge!

Icon2 oil pan wont budge!

I have a 1998 honda civic dx, we have unbolted all bolts on the oil pan we just cannot seem to pry it off.

Any ideas?

You probalby missed a bunch of bolts. There are quite a few and some are a pain. Otherwise yeah just give a light smack to dislodge it. Mine came off just fine, once I spent hours getting all those stupid bolts off.. what a pain.

Oh yea it was definitely a pain in the a*s but I finally got it, thanks all. I kind of wish I did not get it now, after a few hits with the mallet , it confirmed my worst fear, a slung rod bearing, and the rod is tore to hell. We got the head off, and are checking tonight if theirs any cylinder wall damage
