Ok, so I bought this integra for dirt cheap. He said it has a brand new distributor on it, and it was running fine, and then one day it just died on him. So I got it home and I start it up and it idles at like 100 rpm, just barely running. Then when you step on the gas it bogs down and dies. I wasn't "throwing" any codes on the cluster, but I checked the codes anyways after I reset the ecu and ran it for a couple minutes, and it was throwing three codes: map, tps, and iat. I highly doubt that all of those went out at once, so I'm thinking that it might be and intake manifold gasket? IDK. I really hope someone knows what the hells going on. I'm pulling my hair out right about now. Thanks in advace, David

 

could be the idle air control valve..check that

 

if your throwing all three codes then maybe they all went bad. Sensors do go bad and there's no telling how long they will last. Maybe your Tps and map sensor are switched around, and the iat sensor plug is plugged in the iacv valve, try switching each one at a time, then see what happens.

 

so theres not really a way for it to be an intake manifold leak. I was thinking that would make the idle rise, but even if I do get the idle to go up, it still doesnt do anything when I step on the gas. I did take my iacv off and cleaned it and nothing changed. Its not showing that code anyway, I will swap the map and tps and see what it does. Thanks for the help. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David

 

you could spray some carb cleaner or a soapy water mixture onto where the IM meets the head, while car is on and look for bubbles.
