Default 5 speed swap!!!

just picked up a mint da this summer for a grand.. its a 93 RS with 100,000 miles on it garage kept and absolutly nothing whong with it...... except its an automatic i really want to put a stick in it and make it a manual but to be honest i have no idea how to go about doing this or how much work, time and money this is going to take.. can anybody help me out and tell me what im getting myself into? thanks

somewhere on this forum there is a great right up on how to do it in a civic. should be fairly close to the same. we followed it with almost no issues in my friends civic. shouldnt be much diff in the integra

well, i got deals on everything haha. Depending what tranny you want. ls 200-250, GSr 400-600, and so on. Get an Exedy clutch/ and a decent flywheel. oh i forgot yo have a DA... cable. Most of the money is the tranny, clutch/flywheel, and mounts. all the other stuff is not that much.

I'd prolly budget close to 600 to be safe, that would get you a good clutch and flywheel combo as well as the good honda fluids. If the cars is mostly stock I'd recommend the oem replacement exedy clutch and the fidenza flywheel combo from clutchmasters on ebay. Ive used that clutch numerous times with no problems at all.

Oh, and have fun with the pedal assembly. I remember alot of cursing and telling my self I hate working on cars!!

haha yea i hear that a bitch.. oh well no pain no gain i guess and thanks for the additional info on picking out a clutch and flywheel
