had my car broken into last nite...luckily my sis came home probablly right after they broke into the car...had no time to take anything except the face from my radio...and broke the rear passenger window.....pisses me off
now I gotta keep an eye out that they dont come back to finish the job...they did that to my friend two weeks ago...came back a week later and took his whole damm car

Just wondering, did you have an alarm on your car? I just got my car broken into the same way through the back drivers side window. I'm going to get an alarm put on it today from circuit city for about $200 dollars for a rattler system. Just wondering if you had an alarm because if you did, it's probably not worth installing an alarm. Just keep using the almighty CLUB.

 

Thieves don't care about a faceless radio. The guys that broke into my car stole my blue neon lights inside the car (cost a total of $20 from walmart), my faceless radio, my fire extinguisher, and all the change out of the change compartment. What the @#%@ kind of stupid breed of thieves are running around out there. Oh yea, they tried to steal my all clear lights but couldn't figure out how to get them all off so they just left them. I mean, dam, they basicly just broke my window. That's not even a good reason to break into somebodies car. Replacing the window costed twice as much as the total of all they stole, which was a whopping $150.00 for window replacement costs. STUPID STUPID STUPID

 

no alarm...and no I didnt have the face off the deck...honestly my car is probablly the first car in the neighborhood to be broken into...its really quiet around me and there isnt even much thru traffic.....funny they took the face and didnt even have time to get the radio!!!! so pretty much the broke my window....$195...new tint...$40.....and left me with a faceless radio that does me no good....and I have to pay for it out of pocket.....
so pretty much they got a radio face and I got totally screwed

 

yea, I know that feeling. You got left with a faceless radio, and I got left with a face. So basicly, now that I got the new radio, I have two faces for it. I'm not installing that radio till this alarm goes one though

 

guess I shouldn't complain...who knows what they would have taken if no one had rolled up on them...I could be car less for all I know

Seriously, think about it...how much do stolen stereos sell for? $30 at the most? How is that a way to supplement your income? I got my stereo stolen about 6 months ago, and it was 2 years old...who's gonna buy that for more than $40? All that effort, and risk...for $40! And then they stole my CD's, are they going to play them in their car or what, cause you can't do anything else with them!!!

that blows.. i had my cdplayer and 95 cd's stolen from my old lude.. it was def. someone who didn't know what they were doing.. and it was right in front of campus police.. i too have felt the rage of stolen stuff.. and the drive home from the gf's place with rain coming in through the passenger window.. still makes me pissed today.. as far as only the face maybe it was some dude who's face broke.. either way i would love to catch any thief doing somethin.. ie a chance to take em down shotokahn style..

I feel you on the cd's, they stole all mine too. A cd case with about 30 burned memorex cd's. They cost me $20 dollars for another 50 pack of blank cd's. I hope they like punk, techno, underground hiphop, and all that other stuff, cause I'll give them props if they sale a memorex to somebody.

 

oh well police called and said the parial plate my sister gave came up with nothing.... ins doesnt cover aftermarket radio, home owners doesnt cover it either....so I'm pretty much screwed over
ohh and did I mention the 212.00 it cost me this morning to have the window replaced

 

That sucks man. My car got broken into two days ago. Thank god for the Unbreakable Autolock. It was the second time it saved my car. Everything else got jacked though....my stock springs (dont ask y they were in my trunk), my backpack...cds). I know how you feel. The frustration never goes away either.

 

hahahaha, soooo mother phucking true! i had my teg broken into about a year ago, they stole a ghetto-*** cd deck that was about 2 yrs old at the time and it was only worth $100 when it was new. wat's even more stupid was those ***-*** left the harness on the car, good thing for me but stupid for them, can't exactly use a old-*** piece of crap stereo w/o a harness. wat else was stupid was that they pop my hood and stole my $50 no name intake that came w/ the car. stupid ***** *****! btw, they stole my cd-r's too! haha, wtf are they they gonna do w/ those?! oh yea, did i mention they stole a bottle of body spray that was in the car?! how ghetto!!!!!!!!!

anyways, the car is stripped now, only two seats, dash, and door panals. no system, no glove box, no center console, NOTHING AT ALL! watch those damn thiefs come back for a quarter i droppped on the seats!!!!
