Default Magnaflow Direct Fit Catalytic Converter any good?

Wanted to get some feed back with Magnaflow Direct Fit Catalytic Converter. Did anyone had good or bad experience with it? Like it goes bad on the following smog requirement or anything like that... Also I have a CRX with B16 converted to OBD1 so I do need to order the 92+ Integra Catalytic Converter right?

Let me know if anyone else recommend other brand Catalytic Converter...

I had one on my stock DX, didn't pass smog with it

Sometimes I really hate CA.

i work for kragen and from what i heard we had to send back most of our old cats in order to get the magnaflow's because they are the only ones that seem to pass the new CA regulations and laws when it comes to cats. here is what i do. put on a new direct fit cat, smog the car, take it off after you pass and replace it with your old one. this way next time you go to smog your car the cat is still like new, lol

I passed smog with mine. But I don't think that cat was my main issue.

I replaced my 89 civic stock with one in March, its the only one Kragen would sell to me, I live in So. Cal. It fit right on... pretty much. My car passed, NO measurement went from about 1000 down to 14. Great cat! Car seems to run much better too.

I installed a direct fit, and it passed Austin emissions with plenty of room to spare.

The direct fit magnaflows also have the same casing-to-pipe fitting that the high-flow's have, meaning a clear exit path that flows better than stock.

Summit racing has them for $113.95 plus shipping
http://summitracing.com/parts/MPE-22635/

its the first part i am getting when i get my sedan. Just so i feel safer about passing emissions after i get it.
