dim down high beam bulb??

dim down high beam bulb??
just wondering if there is a way to make the high beam bulb not so bright like DRLs .. i put a yellow 9005 bulb in the brights because i love the yellow look on the inside.. way too bright to drive with.. is there a way to lower the output.. i was thinking a resistor somewhere but not sure where to put it
