Default 1999 ITR tranny problem

Here is my problem, I own a 2000 Black 4door ITR. I cannot get into 2nd gear under high RPM's and i have to force it into 2nd when going from 3rd to 2nd. it is also hard to get the car into 4th gear under high RPM's and have to struggle to get it out of 4th gear going to 5th or 3rd, feels like it dosen't want to come out of 4th. I also drained my gearbox and found alot of goldish looking metal shavings in the oil. Can you give some insight as to what my problem might be. Any information on where i can get parts to fix the issue would be much appreciated.

Very expensive...just letting you know ahead of time. I replaced ALL syncro sleeve sets in my trans. Feels good knowing that it's all brand new though...worth the $

Do NOT get it from your local dealer. You will pay a ton more than buying from one of these Honda dealers that have online parts stores.

Hi guys,

The guys at hondaautomotive are not answering my emails. I called and they told me that I will have to check with an acura dealer for the parts for my integra. My mechanic told me that the set for the 1999-2000 civic SI are the same as for the GSR and integra type R. Can anybody here confirm this?
