Default oil on timing belt, headgasket not sealing properly.....

I just put my head back together, but one of the camshaft oil seal is missing and I thought it's ok so i put everything back together, car fired up, but the oil keep coming out from the camshaft, and the timing belt is full of oil.

will this shorten the life of the timing belt ??

the head was warped before due to overheating, i had it resurfaced and milled(don't know how much), i ordered new oem headgasket, and i followed the torqueing procedures from the service manual. but coolant still keep going into the cylinder and oil. the deck was fine, no warpage.

what could be wrong???

Damn, those are major problems. My crank seal was leaking oil all over timing belt. You could see it from underneath the car. You probably want to start with that camshaft oil seal, though. That sounds like your problem right there.

There are multiple head gaskets for the h22,do you possibly have the wrong one?
Also is it leaking right above the water pump?

Just trying to come up with some info to help out. I went through a similar problem in the past and it was the head gasket. If you can pull the camgear off you can check the cam seal also.

mine is the original motor in my 97 prelude, and I ordered new headgasket from Majestic Honda. it should be the right one. and this is the second time I'm replacing the headgasket.

how i blew the motor? long story short, one of the radiator hose gave up and the motor lost all the coolant. I did not know that until I found out the temp gauge is pointed all the way up, then i kept driving it at least 30 minutes, until I made it home, and the car died.

did a compression test, 110psi 90psi 90psi 130psi

first time i pulled the head off, the headgasket is blown, and the head is warped. I didn't realize the head needed resurfacing so I just ordered new headgasket, and put everything back together, the car fired up, idles good, but it still has sings of burning coolant, but only a little bit. the car survived for about 2 months, it began overheating again, after a few days, it finally died.

this time I figured the head need to be resurfaced, so I brought it to the machine shop and they take care of the head. then I ordered new head studs, new headgasket from majestic honda. again, I put everything together, torqued all the studs down by following the service manual. I thought it's gonna be ok this time, i fired it up, everything is normal, but still a little bit vapor coming out from the tailpipe.... and I forgot one of the camshaft oil seal, oil leaked all over the timing belt. damn it.

I don't know where the coolant is leaking from, it looks like the coolant is leaking into all four cylinders.

are you positive you put the head gasket on the right way. Also how long did you run it after you got it back together there could be coolant residue in the exhaust that needs to burn off. maybe...

You need a new timing belt if your's is covered in oil. Oil kills the life of the belt. Get a cam seal for crying out loud.
