swap clutch problem!?!?!?!?!
hey whats up HT i have a 1990 ef hatch that i just swapped a d15b7 into it. im having problems with the clutch. the clutch goes straight to the floor. is it possible that when i bought the swap that there wasn't a clutch in it? or am i just adjusting it wrong? any pics of how the cable is supposed to be like? help please. thank you
..... you didn't check when you put it in for a clutch?
i think we need some more details here is your car hydro converted or cable or what? if it's still a cable clutch, have a friend visually make sure that the clutch arm on the trans moves w the pedal. and check to make sure there's a clutch in it. lolz

Uhmmm, is your cable in proper operation? they snap from time to time or wear out of their adjuster brackets. Other than that, take the tranny off and find out?
the cable is fine. and im sure the clutch is there. i need a picture of the cable down by the tranny. im wondering why the pedal goes all the way to the floor and is not coming back up. any ideas?

it sounds like either the engagement arm isn't aligned or something else is broken on the linkage IF you're sure the cable is working and pulling up on the lever.
