I really need to know this... i was repairing a dent in my back hatch and my friend said he found one on cl for 50 bucks... it was mint condition and already had a nice tint so I bought it. The guy thought it went to an accord... and didn't even know what year but it looked just like the 97 hatch...it obviously went to an integra though.. but when we put it on there is a big gap on the right side of the trunk area and its really flush on the left side. Water leaks...hurray and we had to take the metal locking bracket and switch it with the one off the old hatch.. so does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

 

i think it will fit, but on the 98+ the hatch has a little lever up underneath the bottom lip of it to open it, which the 97 doesnt, dont know if that would create a problem or not. but as far as fitment, i think itll fit.

it fits... just make sure u line it up correctly... for some odd reason ppl tend not to.. lol
