My Shocks won't fit (advice is greatly appreciated) thanks
I have a 94 LS Integra, I recently just bought new KYB shocks for my car.
I tried putting it on today but come to find out the shock won't fit into the fork for some reason, I'm not quite sure why.
I think one possibility is that the former owner of the car may have changed the fork out to either DA forks or ITR forks.
The old shock was in printed HONDA and part number #930109 if anyone knows what stock honda shocks are these please let me know, that would probably guarantee where the forks came from.
Any other advice would help also.
Thanks your for your time

Part number is invalid. Is the bottom of the shock physically wider than the opening in the fork? ITR fork should be the same as all other integra's, it's only the rear LCA that is different. Not sure about DA's though, although they do have different part #'s
Look at these pics and see what it looks like:

Yes the bottom of the shock is wider than the opening of the fork, that's the main reason it won't go in.
Other than that the pics you showed me seems like it can't be the fork that's wrong or have been changed.
I'm going to try again today with some help from friends, I'll see how it goes. I'll get back to post what happen.
Thanks.

SOLUTION SOLVED ! The problem was EF Forks LMAO I can't believe they would put EF forks and shocks on a Integra.
Thx for the advice and help gritsak, where no one else bothered to help out.

the reason they might have used an ef combo is that the shock itself is much shorter. i know the da sus is 1.5" taller than the ef. not exactly sure the dif between an ls sus compared to the ef. i just did a whole itr/ek combo on my crv. big dif there

Yeah I was able to buy the dc forks from someone on a forum for like $30.
What exactly does it make difference on? Ride quality? more dropped? etc.
