swapped out my y7 for y8 everything went well until start up it wont start?
k so i put in a 99 y8 into my 99 dx that had a y7 i have the correct engine harness and ecu all my sensors work, but im using a a 94 TB from a SI the only diff is coolant bypass thing and while doing a comp test there was coolant mixed with fuel literally splooshing out plus mist out of combustion chambers, so i dunno how that got into there any ideas ppl and on my therostat theres like a plastic T on it idunno what its there for i just looped them any help plz really stumped! timing is good i believe.
well since there was so much fluid in the where the spark plugs where comp was 0 for all but the engine was running before so i dunno dude when i pulled the spark plug the gap was filled with this coolant/fuel mix like a drop and i had to blow them clean.
most confusing thing is how the F>>> did coolant enter there WTF? like i dunno is there a place/tube on the TB where i could of mistaken for coolant and placed a coolant hose on ?

Gasket is brand new forsure is fine but I dunno I thought the only vaccum was on the top of the tb there's one on the IM? like the Tb has 2 coolant hoses on the bottom and vaccum on the top by tps, but if there's a vaccum on like the back of the IM possible that I shoved a coolant hose on it but I hope I didn't cuz I dunno what that would do to the engine????!????
You need to provide some updated information. For example, did you mistakenly connect a coolant hose to a vacuum nozzle on the intake?
You'd be hard-pressed to find a coolant hose to fit a vacuum line. I doubt that's what you did. You would have noticed when you tried to route it. How many miles were on your engine, it could be as simple as a head gasket. If you pull the IM off and there's no sign of coolant in it you can quit worrying about that whole hose fiasco.
I did pull it off and I found what hose I put on wrong lots of coolant drained from IM only thing Now is figuring out this plastic tee which only pertains to 99/00 y8's on the thermostat housing and what to run off that coolant or nothing ? I have another thread if u wanna see it "WTF is this plastic thing on my thermohousing" not the sensor but the tee

but now back to the compression thing.. 0 psi scares me. even with coolant inside the cylinder chambers i dotn think you would have zero compression. meaning coolant wouldnt create a zero compression condition. try adding oil inside the chambers (maybe a teaspoon once you get the coolant out) to see if you start building compression.
people here are going to want you to do a leak down compression test for each cylinder if the "wet" compression test doenst yield any better results.
The coolant in the cylinders could have caused the rings to stick. WaaBaah's right about the oil and the leakdown test but sometimes just cranking it for a while is enough to free up the rings, assuming that's the problem.
