Which company had the poor quality cams? I know one is different than the other.

Like the stories of them breaking in the mail, or the ones snapping when tightening the cam caps.

I wanna know which one to avoid.

 

Every cam breaks. Not one is supposedly better than the other. i've heard of EVERY cam brand break someway or another, but that doesnt mean the brand is crap. I'm sure if one of those had some issues in the past, it would have been fixed by now. Stories of cams breaking can happen in many ways. Installer error or like you said, can break in the mail. We get OEM cams sent to us so customers can get our cam grinds and there's been dozens of OEM cams that have arrived broken over the 10+ yrs we've been doing this. Even oem ones break if not properly packaged during shipping.
Disregard what you heard, I'm sure they both make decent cams.

 

That what i was thinking, but i just wasnt sure.

 

Crower had the massive breakage issues years ago......Specifically the C3s for H22s.
Neither of them make good N/A power, so I'd look elsewhere.......
