Koni adjustable coilovers, anyone have them on their ride? Any good?
I currently running tokico blues and OBX coilover sleeves (Too stiff and bumpy). I wanted to just drop it back then and it sux. approx. 1.8" - 2" drop. (I don't like it slammed, too hard to drive it around)
I'm deciding between:
1) Koni Yellows w/ GC coilover sleeves
2) Koni adjustable coilvers
I haven't rided in either, so I need some opinions or if anyone in bayarea willing to show me the setup on thier ride? Which is better? I'm planning to track my car later this year(AutoX) and it's my daily driver..
all other setup suggestions welcome...
thanks,

I have them. They've been on for oh...about 7000 miles or so.
Here are my thoughts:
—The price is pretty good. ~$950 for some height and ride adj. coils is good, especially when you're getting Koni yellows.
—The struts are awesome. The ride adjustability really works (i.e. you can tell the difference between soft, mid, and stiff).
—Here is the big downside for me. The spring rates are appallingly soft for a del Sol. I don't know what kind of car you have (maybe a VX?), but for my 2500 lb. car, here are the spring rates (progressive springs):
Front: 215-240 lbs./in.
Rear: 125-142 lbs./in.
...horrible as you can see. I hadn't thought about finding out the spring rates prior to ordering, I just assumed they would be okay. My car has no gap up front (looks like it's tucked, but it's barely not), and hardly any out back. When cornering sharply (such as Solo II), the top of my front tires routinely hit the top of the wheel well. Granted, my car might be a little low, but still. The springs are way too soft. I guess the only good part is that the ride is superb, especially for as low as the car is.
If I were you, I'd get the Koni coilovers, but just order them for an Integra.

I will be selling my Koni yellows and GC coilovers with a few choices on sp. rates if you're interested. I've had them for a little over a year- they work awesome! Found a set of aluminum bodied race coilovers that i've been looking for at a good price. Let me know if you want them- i'll ship them if need be... jgale00@hotmail.com

The dampening characteristics are the BEST. If you get the coil over, go the whole way and get Eibach ERS springs, and tell them the spring rates that you want. Just don't go over 400~425lbs. The shocks would have to be revalved if you go higher. $$$$
Exactly! The springs I mentioned above are the ERS springs. I have pairs of 300, 375, 400, and 450 lb springs for your choosing.
So the real coilover's springs are too soft?
and two votes for Koni yellow/GC custom spring rate?
I will only AutoX 4 times a year and it's a daily driver. Any other suggestions for $800 or less budget?
btw, it's for 95 si chb
thanks for all who replied..

If you're only auto-xing that much, i'd stay below 375-400 for the spring rates. Just turn up the shocks for those days. Let me know if you want the ones i'm selling.

I'd recommend stiffer in the front and a bigger sway bar(if you like) for "daily driving". I run mine very similar to E Prepared's set-up, and it handles great, BUT, you definately must be careful in the rain(again, he mentioned daily driving as a primary use). If you go into a turn too hot in the wet, it'll swap ends faster than you can say uh-oh!
