What do i need to make a LS catback work on my 94 GSR?

i've read conflicting stuff thru the search function.

I know thier is a lenght difference but is it in the header,cat or actual exhaust?

I'm gonna pull what i need off a LS tommorow but i'm looking to make this a boltup and ride job with no welding.

what do i need off the LS??

 

The GSR Header/Exhaust Manifold Collector is shorter than the other models. Thus, you will need a small extention w/ flanges to run WITH the catylatic coverter, or a test pipe to run INSTEAD of the cat. Or a custom cat. (i.e. High Flow from Carsound/Magnaflow, with the extended length welded on, with flanges.)

 

Ok I got buddyclub spec2 on the car its way to loud..

The LS is a friends parts car...

Could i just take off the bottom part of the header on out to the muffler?

basically bolting the bottom half of the LS header onto the upper half of my gsr header and just run the LS cat etc would that work??

 

Your wanting to put the bottom half of the LS Exhaust Manifold + stock exhaust on your GSR?

Never heard of it, but Yea, it's worth a shot. I've never done it or even read about it. I would think it would, but I'm not completely sure. See if you can dig up some stock exhaust manifold pics that gives a side view. I know I've seen some either here or the T-I site.

I would say try it. Then if it works, hell yea.. If not, then lesson learned and you can post up the results for future reference.
