I have a door with these side moldings holes in it. I want to know if anybody have ever got these fix or know how to cover it up. Should a bodyshop know how to fix it???

are you trying to get the holes to dissappear ?

either A : save alot of money and put the moldings back on

B. take it to a shop and have them shave them, they need to be welded to be done properly, than bodywork of course.

 

I've seen people use panel bonding adhesive to close them up. works well without welding. And won't weaken or crack over time.

 

ive done 2 cars now using panel bond and no issues

 

i can see where people would use panel bond, a cheaper way to do it and get away with it for a little while, but id be scared of the panel bond sinking over time,especially with all the activity that a door gets. I would personally only weld em up, but whatever floats your boat i guess.

I used Epoxy panel glue to fix the metal sheets . I shaved with filler and it's done without welding , 2 years ago and it still perfect !
