Last night me and a friend were messing around on Coral Reef dr/152nd. I was going about 50 and a down shifted to 2nd gear just to get a extra jump and BAMMM!!!! a little over 8 grand on the tach. I freaked out expecting to see huge clouds of smoke out my back window but the engine sounded fine.

I was wondering how much abuse can this valvetrain take stock?
