Default Will DA integra Trailing arms fit EG for rear disc swap

Just as the title says, I need confirmation on whether the DA (first gen) intergra rear suspension will work on the EG civic. I'm thinking it will, but I'm unsure.

yes it will. You'll also need the e-break cable off the integra

I personally did this in the past. And it does fit, but normally ppl prefer 94+ Integras rear disc brakes for their EG.

Thanks. I'm not up to date with suspension component nomenclature. But I did remove everything from the DA integra, . I was going to use these on my 89 si, but never did, and want to use them on my eg. I suppose I'll double check all the arms that attach.

While I'm at it, will the DA front knuckles match up? I have those too, which I didn't use on the EF because I'd heard they were a little too tall, cause alignment problems, or reduced suspension travel.

I have the same situation. I have a complete brake setup from a DA Integra sitting in my garage waiting to be installed into an EG civic.

Trailing arms ....

I have read two different things in regards to this swap ... 1. the rear trailing arms work, as they are the same but then 2. They are different but can be made to work by changing the bushing(?). Please help clarify and let me know what needs to be done to make it work.. if anything. (I do have the ebrake cables)

DA Front Knuckles ..

I am fully aware that the DA front Knuckles will not work, so I picked up some DC front knuckles on the cheap. They came without the brake calipers, hence the cheap. Am I correct in simply removing the calipers from the DA knuckles and bolting them onto the DC knuckles?

Finally, I should use DA SS brake lines because it's a DA swap essentially. Correct?

THANK YOU for this post and the responses to come!

DA trailing arms work, the bushings are different in terms of the outer diameter of the bushing, all it means is that you have to use '90 - '93 Integra trailing arm bushings in '90 - '93 Integra trailing arms regardless of the vehicle they are going on.

So far as I know DA calipers are the same as DC calipers so you shouldn't have any trouble swapping them over.

Thanks for the reply. I spent three hours last night breaking free the caliper frame bolts off the DA knuckles. It took me standing on the knuckles while using a 3 foot long breaker bar on a 1/2 inch ratchet to break them free. That was after the penetrating oil, impact wrench and torch failed to do the job... maybe they helped loosen things up a bit.

Anyways, so if I replace the trailing arm bushing with an polyurethane one for instance I need to use a DA one, not an EG or DC. Seems pretty straight forward to me. Thanks again.

You should also search. This question has been answered many times, including a write-up by myself.

For the bushings. They are different. Whichever suspension part is being used then buy for those bushings. I believe Civic and DC are all the same except the lower control arms. Go to www.suspension.com to cross reference parts.
