Default ITR flywheel question

question: did all type r's use the same flywheel (jdm and usdm)?

i just picked up an EK with unknown year jdm b18c. i want to swap out the clutch and after some research i have uncovered the two different outside diameters between a 97-98 and 00-01 type R clutch disc.

the early model is 210mm OD whereas the latter model is 219mm OD. did all type r's use the same flywheels just different diameter clutches?

i'm planing to get an exedy stage one, which is 220mm OD. exedy reports it will fit all modely year type-r's made between 97-01. so would that work on my jdm b18c (possibly 96 spec?)

thanks for reading

Interesting find.

It'll work, though I'm not a huge Exedy fan due to spring hub failure.
