i would love to shave the whole license bracket but now that i think about it, ive never seen one fully shaved on an OEM bumper. ive seen the holes shaved, but not the whole bracket itself. so it makes me question why people would spend thousands of dollars on certain paint jobs and not shave that, which additionally makes me question if for some reason that its impossible to shave. so is there some reason why i couldnt shave it?

you can shave the whole thing most people leave it there because in most states it illegal to not have a front plate so they keep it so they can mount it on

 

I shaved my whole usdm license plate bracket, holes and all. Then my brother got a warning ticket in my car for the front plate.

 

well i would put one on somehow if i need to, like on the side or something, but i haaate the bracket being there, is really ugly, so if its possible, id like to shave it.

 

you can do it..i shaved the holes..wishin now that i should have just shaved everything all together...and use a plate relocater and mount it on the grill..thats what i did when i had to take mine into inpection for no front plate..but even having the plate there looks ugly to me..so drive at your own risk, if your in cali im not sure about anywhere else
