Default picked up beater today

picked up this 04 gixxer on craigslist today for 2500. it's def seen better days but at least i wont feel too bad if i dump it. worst thing on it is the gixxer 750 speedo :\

i'll be parting out some of the things that came with it. for sure the exhaust because i don't like how it sounds. that and it creeps me out that the cops are eyeball ****ing me before i even notice them. so if u have a factory one u'd like to trade plus cash let me know. don't know yet about the crash cage hehe

I have a Hamilton exhaust which replicates a stock exhaust. It's your for $50 shipped. Paypal only.

Also have stock mirrors, front faring (no cracks and it's blue), stock windscreen, signals, stock tail w/ solo and passenger seat. PM if you want to work out a deal. I'm just looking to clean this stuff out of my garage.

Thanks

I just get worried when I start to see JB weld on brackets on a bike that has a stunters cage. Could be nothing to it, could be beat to hell... and 2500 isnt the best deal in the world for a bike thats been heavily smacked around. but if you get her running and she tracks straight, rides good and doesnt exhibit any weird tendencies when laid over, good for you OP

yup it's beat up alright lol i keep telling myself that every time i swing a leg over it! but it tracks straight and i couldn't feel any veering if it was. i pegged the needle awhile ago and it pulled almost like my 636. i bought it to romp on with little worry of having to replace parts and i'd like to race it at the tok events. don't care at all if i look like junk lol i'm gonna keep pushing this bike as far as my confidence allows because my poser bike sits safe in the garage!

so far i've taken off the ridiculous pointy swingarm spools, cheapo tire hugger, and mirrors that were hanging by a wire. i'm yanking off the cage next once i figure that out.
