I wanted to replace the front of my integra bumper due to the bottom half being broken.

Should i just go by a 98+ front end and get it repainted to match, and then put the new headlights, or just buy another 94 bumer?

We can't tell you what you should do. It's up to you, what you like, and how much you want to spend.

Do you like the 98+ front end and want to spend the money on doing that? Then do it.

Do you like the 94 front and not care so much about 98+? Then keep that.

 

I like how clean the 98 front with a lip looks. I got a jdm front awhile back but now that everyone and their mamas here in cali has one makes me miss my 98 front.

 

personally i think a 98 front end is way nicer than a 94-97

 

I'll chime in for the 94-97 front with JDM fogs and 97 ITR lip. But the choice is actually yours.

If you feel like being uber rare, opt for the JDM SiR-G front lip.

 

ITR lip looks better than Si-VTEC lip IMHO.

 

yeah i just sold my db8 with 99 front 3 week ago. and now i have my winter beater a db7 and i miss the 99 front. im thinking of replacing it cause the front of my db7 is kinda beat neways.. i think u only need bumper headlight and bumper light..how much does this cost... hmm

I was in a situation just like yours where i had to get a new bumper for my integra. Couldnt decide whether to go 98 or stay 94 and save some money. In the end I got myself a good 94 bumper for 30 bucks. To me i like how simple and clean the 94 front looks especially with a lip, and with the 94 front you have so much more options to change the look of your car with a wide range of different lips. I feel like the 98 front is the new JDM, everyone wants it. but its your call

 

It depends on money and opinion. For example you can find cheap 94-97 bumpers, if you were in pa I'd give you my bottom half for free. I decided to do a conversion but it cost about a little less than a half grand after buying everything plus paint...

 

The cheapest 94 bumper i can find is for 100 at NT Auto Salvage here in houston. Is anyone selling a bumper for cheaper then 100?

i thought you only broke the bottom half... if so just buy the bottom. if you happen to stumble upon a full one for cheap then comp it.

 

Man, you had a JDM conversion before and you taking the froggy lamps over the 1-piece? Wow. IMHO, I ain't going back to the US versions, don't care if it's 98+. It's all the same to me, still 4 eyes. Just get a replacement bumper then.

 

its really up too you. i personally like all fronts. OG itr. 98 itr. and jdm. ive gone through the 94-97 front, got the 98 front. now its jdm time. its a personal choice id say

 

I just got a 98+ front for $50 off a guy that was going JDM so that was a deal. I would say wait and see what the best deal will be and what you like the most

 

sell the car and buy a EG hatch, then you wont have to worry about which front looks better because its all the same.

 

I say go for 98+

 

It all depends on your taste and how much cash you got. I like the 94-97 bumper but that's just my opinion plus it will be cheaper than the 98+

If i can get a deal on a 94-97 bumper that would be sweet because the 98+ are costly for everything.

 

98+ front bumper is really that much more expensive. Around my area i can get it for $80-100

 

+1 for 94-97 front ends.. personally i think the 98+ sticks out too far infront of the car, kinda makes the car look even more odd than they already were... and the comptech/itr lip for that year is very fitting

 

I've got the 98 front with ITR lip and like it alot more than my old 94 GSR front. But its on you man and if you are on a budget go with the 94-97 and save on buying new headlights
